2)Front to Back: Place the end of a tape measure at your hairline in the middle of your forehead. then Pull it directly over the crown of your head, down the back of your head until you reach the nape of your neck at the base of your hairline.
3)Ear to ear: put the end of the tape measure just above one ear, then Pull it up and across the hairline until it reaches the other ear.
4)Temple to Temple: Place the tape at the temple and bring the tape measure around the back of your head to touch another temple.
5)Nape of the neck: Place the end of the tape measure behind one ear, level with the bottom of your ear lobe, and pull the tape around the base of your hairline, or the nape, until it reaches below the opposite ear.
If your measurement conform to the large cap size data in the chart below, you can consider to get a large cap wig.
Secondly, other factors you need to consider.
1)The amount of your natural hair. If you have very full natural hair, you should choose bigger cap size than the average size. Because your thick natural hair will tale up some space of the wig.
2)Simply have a big head. Large cap wig is friendly to people with big head.
3)Head circumference is more than 22.5, but less than23 inches. If you find your head is bigger than average cap size, just choose the large one. Usually the wigs all have adjustable elastic band and combs, you can still make your wig secure by it. So there is no need to worry about the security when choosing a bigger wig.
